Last December I had the great pleasure of photographing Claire and Robert’s winter wedding at the In and Out Club, an exclusive members only club in the heart of London. It was my last wedding of the year, and it managed to produce so many iconic moments throughout, which the In and Out club played an enormous part in. The Bridal prep took place in one of their suites, and the large bay windows produced this gorgeous diffused light, which was just perfect for the kind of natural photography I love. For the ceremony, we were whisked away to St Peter’s Italian church in Clerkenwell, which is simply stunning – beautiful murals everywhere, and its large cavernous space empathised this grand feeling, which felt completely in tune with the day. The wedding continued back to the In and Out Club, which was festively decorated, and the festive theme continued into the speeches, as an amazing (and loud!) rendition of Twelve Days of Christmas concluded the speeches. The evening ended as the First Dance took place on a cloud of smoke, but not before Claire’s bouquet found it’s way into the chandelier! Such an amazing day, from start to finish, and I thoroughly hope to make it back for a In and Out Club wedding sometime soon.
