It was great to return to the Dorset wedding venue, Lulworth Castle for Sophie and Adam’s wedding. I was delighted to be their wedding photographer and it was my second time at Lulworth Castle.
Whilst I have photographed a wedding in the nearby church I haven’t photographed a wedding ceremony inside the castle. It really is incredible inside and the Sophie and Adam had gone to a lot of trouble with their stylist. It came out so well in the photos. They chic glam look really suited their black tie theme and Sophie’s incredible dress.
One of the things I love about wedding photography is the unpredictability of it all. There was a little bit of rain on the day (annoyingly!) but it cleared up after the wedding breakfast and we were able to head outside for some amazing couple photos in the late afternoon sunlight.
The grounds around Lulworth Castle are stunning, and whilst you can’t see the sea we got some of my favourite photos of Sophie and Adam in the landscape.
Adam and Sophie played it cool all day – neither of them seemed nervous and the party atmosphere continued from getting ready with the bridesmaids until the evening celebration.
“We were very pleased with our decision to book Albert. He worked seamlessly with the videographer whom he had not met before. Albert was very professional and discreet which was important to us! We aren’t the most comfortable couple in front of the camera and he managed to take some stunning shots. Our living room is now filled with the most special memories from the day.”
