With a background in Fine Art, I have been a full time wedding photographer for the past 6 years. Documenting these wonderful events is a privilege and a constant source of fascination. A wedding is a day which reads like a story, with a beginning, an end and a whole lot of good stuff in the middle. My photographs tell the full story of your day; not a series of poses which bear no resemblance to the feelings, the emotions, even the smells, tastes and sounds you’ll have experienced on your wedding day.

Good reportage is about being in the right place at the right time. It takes skill, timing and dedication to one sole purpose: encapsulating your day as an individual, stand alone event, unique to you and those you choose to share it with.

I aim to provide you with a set of creative images which will sit happily alongside the memories of your day, and take you right back to it every time you look at them. A multi award winning documentary wedding photographer, I take commissions all over the country, photographing weddings in rural barns, chic city hotels, vast stately homes, working men’s clubs and parents’ back gardens.

Weddings with 6 guests, weddings with 500 guests and every amount in between. I don’t go for faddy ‘vintage’ processing or ‘cutting edge’ compositions which will date and look passé in 10 years time. I don’t attract a ‘type’ of couple, in fact I’d go as far as to say none of my couples have anything in common, except one thing: they want beautiful, honest, unobtrusive coverage of their wedding day, with a set of pictures that will make them smile forever. If this sounds like you, then drop me a line: you’re just my type.

Client Testimonials

  • Lyndsey's reportage style and easy going attitude were exactly what we'd been looking for. Quietly observing our wedding party unfold, her presence and shooting was so unobtrusive that some of our guests even questioned whether we had a photographer! The result? Beautifully natural shots capturing the emotions and otherwise unseen moments of our big day wonderfully. So much so, that every time we revisit the photos, we see something new in them.

  • “ wow wow wow”…. That’s all that could be heard in our house last night, after we arrived home to find your photos had arrived! Absolutely fantastic – we love them! You’ve managed to capture both the majesty and the quirkiness of the venue, and the mood of the day perfectly.

  • A huge thank you for the most beautiful wedding photos we could have imagined! Everyone is still talking about them 2 months later. You've managed to capture all of the intimacy, tenderness, anticipation and fun behind our wedding day. We’re still looking at the photos now and seeing new things in them!

  • We knew Lyndsey would be a safe choice; we loved the photos she took of a friend's wedding, but we were not prepared for just how much we would love every single photograph she took of our wedding. Each one is a special memory, beautifully and discreetly captured, just as it happened.
