This wedding was an absolute joy, there was so much laughter everywhere we looked – and we’re all about taking pictures of people laughing their heads off!
Emily & Simon had the best reading I can remember during the ceremony. Their friend read The Owl and the Pussycat, by Edward Lear. It was absolutely hilarious, and still very touching – everyone was in fits of giggles. Wonderful to have a bit of humour in to break the tension from the wedding nerves!
But Emily & Simon simply never stopped smiling, they’re such a wonderful and expressive pair. We could really tell how much their friends and family think the world of these guys.
Nunsmere Hall was the beautiful background for the day. A gorgeously ornate country house right in the middle of Delamere forest, surrounded on three sides by a lake (slightly too muddy to get down there this time), with glorious gardens to go rambling in for some couple shots.
The weather helped too – glorious sunshine for almost the entire day, with only the occasional torrential downpour (hey, this is England!). All in all, a perfect way to spend a Saturday.
…And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand.
They danced by the light of the moon, the moon, the moon,
They danced by the light of the moon.
