This was my first Plas Isaf wedding, a beautiful secluded wedding venue in North Wales. A family run organic farm, it’s large Grade 2 Manor house and large barn/marquee provided the perfect backdrop for Joanna and Georges wedding.
I left Manchester in our trademark drizzly rain. But as I headed through the Welsh countryside, the autumn skies cleared, and the sun made an appearance. After chatting to Jo and George, both actors from London, I knew this was going to be a lovely relaxed day. It was indeed epic!
Jo came down the aisle barefoot (you want to be comfortable for the most important moment of your life!) to possibly my favourite bridal entrance song ever, Blue Swedes ‘Hooked on a feeling’ (also know as “ooga chaka”) – this set the tone for the wedding, total fun!
I can honestly say I have never seen a bride and groom smile so much. Both the guys were beaming from the moment I arrived in the morning, until I left in the as the ceilidh dancing was well under way in the evening .
It was an absolute pleasure to document the day for such a lovely couple. You can check out some of my favourite Plas Isaf wedding photography below…
