Deborah and Hernan’s Jewish South Farm wedding was one of our absolute favourites of last year, set at the ‘distinctly different’ South Farm in Hertfordshire. It was such a fun wedding; the ceremony was traditionally Jewish and featured several of the couple’s friends singing and playing guitar throughout which was just beautiful! The reception was set in the gorgeous grounds of South Farm and as the sun set we took our couple off for a quick photo session at a secret lake a few minutes away from the venue for some wedding photography portraits.
Our favourite part of this wedding though was the dancing! The wild dancing and exciting moves made us very happy and we absolutely loved capturing every moment of this frantic and fun party. The bride and groom were thrust into the air on chairs, there was skipping, limbo dancing, a conga line and even an impromptu cha-cha breaking out across the dance floor before finally the groom joined the rest of the boys in playing a (slightly dangerous!) traditional Jewish wedding game which provided us with one of our favourite photographs of last year!
We absolutely loved capturing this South Farm wedding and we can’t wait to return and photograph the quirky, farm yard, distinctly different wedding venue again!
