When we are looking back over a wedding, our feelings on the day are intrinsically linked with the photos. They become memories and important records of how we were feeling at that time and what stage our photography journey was at. Rhona and Chris’s awesome London wedding at Stoke Newington Town Hall and The Londesborough takes us back to our first venture into using Fuji cameras and finding that these cameras allowed for a much greater synergy between the compositional concepts in our mind and the actual practicality of shooting on the day. It was an exciting time in our journey, we had decided to f**k the ‘rules’ of wedding photography and just shoot in the way that felt right to us; a streety compositional driven style that truly suited us and, lucky for us, was just what our awesome couple Rhona and Chris were looking for! These two gorgeous people understood us perhaps better than even we did at the time and what they wanted from their Stoke Newington Town Hall wedding photography was everything we strive for – layered moments, creative candid composition and the coolest of stories at the centre of it all. This was a wedding with extremely happy memories for us as much as the couple (it can’t get much better for a wedding photographer!) and was a day that we will truly never forget.
