The amazing Tunnels Beaches wedding venue in Devon holds a pretty special place in my heart as a wedding photographer, mainly because I got married there!!! So when Donna and Johns email landed and they told me they were getting married at Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe, I crossed everything hoping they’d book. Well, they did, and my 2nd visit to North Devon was hugely exciting. From a wedding photography POV, there’s something pretty special with Tunnels Beaches, the light seems to just hang over the sea for ages, and the contrast of the venue and guests amongst the dark cliff face provides endless inspiration. Aside from the visual appeal of Tunnels beaches as a wedding venue, one of my biggest reasons for enjoying it so much is just how intimate and secluded it feels once you’re there. Obviously guests are free to wonder along the beach during the reception time, but during the meal and speeches and dancing, everyone is close-by, nestled away in a little corner of North Devon, having an absolute blast. So this is my wedding photography of Donna and Johns big day at Tunnels beaches in Ilfracombe. Enjoy.
